Luke

The Savior of the Outcast

The Gospel of Luke was written by a physician and traveling companion of the Apostle Paul. Addressed to a man named Theophilus, this meticulous account was likely compiled between AD 60 and 85 to provide an orderly, reliable record of the life of Jesus for a primarily Gentile audience.

Luke presents a radically inclusive Savior. In his Gospel, the spotlight repeatedly falls on the marginalized: the poor, women, tax collectors, Samaritans, and notorious sinners. It is a story of an upside-down kingdom where the last are first and the proud are scattered.

For honest skeptics and ordinary adults, Luke asks a demanding question: Are you willing to surrender your wealth, your status, and your comfort to follow a king who was executed as a criminal? It is a book of great joy, profound compassion, and uncompromising discipleship.
